Visiting the Hospital de Sant Pau was a true highlight of my trip to Barcelona. Because it isn't as crowded as other major landmarks, it allows for a much more intimate and relaxed visit. Designed by the brilliant architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this complex was originally built as a public hospital—and it must have been the most beautiful hospital in the world. I was completely awed by the beauty both inside and out. From the colorful mosaics and elegant pavilions to the peaceful gardens, the level of detail in the architecture and interior design is simply unbelievable. It is a breathtaking site that feels like a hidden sanctuary in the middle of the city. Highly recommended!

Just passed by , this nice building! It is a former hospital complex known for its stunning Modernist architecture. It is considered one of Barcelona’s architectural gems and is often less crowded than the city’s more famous attractions. Well worth a visit for those who appreciate beautiful buildings and design.
