★★★★★2 years agoThe statue is impressive. A nice wooded area close to the beautiful train station. And there is a nice Waldlichtung in the middle on sunny days to tank in the sun's glorious penetrating rays of life.

★★★★★11 months agoI was always curious to visit this place whenever I passed the railway station. From a distance the statue (later came to know that it is Strasbourg Memorial) and the surrounding flower garden was calling me to visit the place. My exclusive visit to this place revealed its importance from the French inscription. Basel has great history to reveal when you study them carefully. The long benches, artistic paintings and tall trees are special to this place. Worth spending at least an hour.
