Very kind zoo with a nice and calm park. A good choice with family to spend together 2-3 hours. It is in the center of town, easy to reach it. With Basel Card you get 25% price reduce.

I still love this little zoo. Been coming here for 60 years. It's such a nostalgic place for me. This is the first time I've come here alone. It's easy to walk. It was so nice to see the young volunteers 12 to 14yrs old help cleaning with the zoo keepers. It was February and many of the animals were indoors but it warned my heart. It's a wonderful place for little kids.
