★★★★★5 months agoLovely Folly with fantastic views over the city. Quite a climb up to it but definitely worth it and we had picked a beautiful spring day so the view was very clear. We were able to pick out the Abbey and other landmarks. The Folly is just a little detour off the Skyline Walk. Quite a steep climb in places on the way up and the path can be a little muddy and slippery in places. Views are fantastic and there are benches at points.

★★★★★7 months agoDefinitely worth a trek if into castles or in this case a folly and views. Sham Castle is up on the Claverton Down. It's called Sham because that is exactly what it is, a sham. It's a folly built back in the 1700's with panoramic views over the city of Bath Well worth a walk too.
