★★★★★a year agoVery impressive experience! Three floors packed with detailed historical accounts and recreations of various historical scenes. Lots of information in English. The exibits really highlight the history of China and the connection Chinese people have to the rest of the world and to their own motherland. Would highly recommend giving his place a visit, well worth it! Only a few minutes away by foot from the Lama temple, and here you are not bothered by endless crowds.

★★★★★a year agoExcellent visit, the museum has great reconstitutions of scenes and buildings all real size, makes it very lively and fun to imagine both for adults and kids. All is translated in English and lots of overall explanations as well as more immersive anecdotes and personal stories. Lots of pictures and everyday scenes. A great way to learn more about people from China and their relations to other parts of the worlds, and also connects nicely to other countries History.
