Absolutely amazing! I highly recommend joining the guided tour. You can see the ‘less is more’ philosophy expressed in Brancusi’s works — a journey from technique to creativity, and at its core, a path toward the divine through simplicity. Worth visiting if you want to truly think and see.

Must visit if you’re in Berlin! The building itself is out of this world - and a perfect backdrop to the exhibits. We saw the Brancusi show, which was well curated and an excellent fit for the main hall, alongside the Gerhard Richter exhibit and the main suite of galleries. The works and descriptions are accessible to all levels of art interest and understanding, and the permanent collection exploring German (and global) art in the 20th century drew out all of the key tensions and flash points without feeling overly instructive. It was busy but the space is so big you don’t notice.
