Széchenyi Chain Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Budapest and truly a symbol of the city. Connecting Buda and Pest over the Danube River, it offers stunning views in every direction, especially at sunset when the lights begin to reflect on the water. Walking across the bridge feels special, with a perfect mix of history, architecture, and vibrant city life all around you. The stone lions and elegant structure give it a majestic presence, making it both impressive and romantic at the same time. Whether by day or night, it’s one of those places that stays in your memory long after you leave Budapest.

Definitely one of the most iconic spots in Budapest. Walking across it is a must—the architecture is incredible, and the massive stone lions on either side are really impressive. It sits right in the center of the city, perfectly connecting Buda and Pest parts of the city and walking across it gives you some of the best views of the river and Parliament. Highly recommend taking a stroll over it, especially around sunset.
