Great glasses with a diverse range of portraits from the 1500s to the present day. I enjoyed the eclectic collection of modern day portraits. The great hall is also very beautiful and the library with the display of death masks is also worth a visit. It’s free to visit and there’s a nice cafe on site too.

Went to Wendy McMurdo ‘The Digital Mirror’ exhibition focusing on the nature of play and the introduction of computers to children- superb! Definitely worth a visit and it’s free. Enjoyed coffee in the cafe pre viewing. One of Edinburgh’s most stunning buildings (there are many!) Enjoy!
