Victoria Street Viewing Point – Edinburgh: Beautiful colorful street with great photo opportunities. Can be crowded, best at sunrise or sunset.

Victoria Street is one of the most colorful and enjoyable streets in Edinburgh. The brightly painted shopfronts immediately catch your attention and make you want to stop for photos. The street is lined with souvenir shops, bookstores, cafés, and charming independent boutiques. We ended up walking along it more than once because the atmosphere feels different throughout the day. It’s also a favorite spot for Harry Potter fans, as many people believe it inspired Diagon Alley. Whether that’s true or not, it certainly has a magical feel. Even if you’re not planning to shop, it’s well worth visiting just to stroll along the street, browse the shop windows, and soak up the atmosphere.
