This is a peaceful and beautiful walk and I would definitely recommend taking this route after visiting Dean Village. The path naturally leads you toward Circus Lane, making it a perfect continuation of your stroll. Along the way, you can stop by St Bernard's Well, which adds a nice historic touch to the walk. The route is very lush and green, and even in December when we visited, it still felt vibrant and calming. A great escape from the busier parts of the city and an easy walk to enjoy at a relaxed pace.

On a rather wild February morning I walked part of the path, dropping down into Dean village before heading to Stockbridge. This is a very popular walk with tourists but be aware that the descent is quite steep and in places the path itself is uneven/ wet/ muddy so may be unsuitable for wheelchair users, although I did see people with prams/pushchairs. Dean village itself is very pretty and along the way there are highlights such as St Bernard’s Well. A lovely way to spend a morning!
