Vern
★★★★★2 months agoA breakfast place that locals go to. Reasonably priced and pastries are freshly made. Best pastel de nata in Madeira in my opinion. We also had rice cake and another pastry that were local pastries. Coffee was good. They only accept cash. Indoor seatings only but there were plenty of seats even during peak hour. Great service and staff able to communicate in English.

★★★★★2 months agothe pastries are piled high here and they keep coming to serve the revolving door of patrons. they bake plenty of breads and huge shiny pastries. we had most delicious pastel de nata we tried in the city! it was chock full of flavorsome custard and only 1 euro for a large one. bring cash — card is not accepted, and there is no ATM.
