★★★★★3 months agoA very beautiful and colourfull market to see and make pictures off. The building itself is outdated and had its best time. But the colourfull fruit looks wonderfull. The price of the fruit was way too high, so we did not buy anything. Worth a visit when you are in Funchal. Be aware of the opening times.

★★★★★a month agoOk, worth a visit. It's not large but quaint and not too overrun by tourists. You can get fresh fruit, sweets, fresh fish - when you are an early bird - and lots of tourist trinkets. Don't miss the second floor for a photo of the atrium.
