★★★★★3 months agoI love castles! This castle did not disappoint and the history was very interesting. I loved all of the space to wander and the audio tour was very interesting and informative. The views from the top are incredible and tickets are easy go get. The castle is also in a very busy part of town so it’s fun to explore the surrounding areas too.

★★★★★2 months agoExplored absolutely everywhere i could and enjoyed seeing all the different brick/stone work from remodels repairs etc through the centuries. Also the museum has an excellent selection of arms including a rare combination swordgun. I went shortly after opening with my 9month old baby in a chest carrier. Throughout the castle is plenty of nooks near the windows for sitting and taking breaks and my wife was able to find a quiet corner to breastfeed without issue. The castle is lots of fun for the whole family and it took us about 4 hrs to really thoroughly explore it all.
