★★★★★3 months agoA must-visit in Ghent. The Belfry of Ghent is a beautiful symbol of the city’s history and charm. The external facade is beautiful and is part of the famous skyline of Ghent. We went up for the views and weren’t disappointed—stunning panoramas of the skyline, including St. Bavo’s Cathedral and St. Nicholas' Church. The dragon on top is iconic, and hearing the bells ring was a lovely bonus. There’s an elevator from the first floor, which makes it an easy visit. Try to time it just before sunset. The entry is timed so best to buy the tickets in advance

Very interesting with facts about the bells, carillon etc. we were there when the clock started chiming which was amazing to hear . Nice views of the city at the top although very narrow walk way.
