What a magical place! I came by without realizing you needed to join on the guided tour, but I was able to quickly buy a ticket online for the next (and final!) timeslot of the day and take a stroll around beautiful Carmen de Los Mártires a short walk away while I waited. Beatriz, my tour guide, was amazing—she managed to wrangle a pretty large and unwieldy group, expertly escorting us around the grounds while giving a fascinating, wonderfully expressive tour and answering questions in both English and Spanish, switching off to allow the different language groups to explore at their leisure. Highly, highly recommend a visit and if you get Beatriz as your tour guide, you’re in luck! Need to come back for the extended sunset tour soon!

Extremely underrated spot in Granada. I was recommended this by a friend who lived here for a couple years. I was the only person who booked a 10am tour and they still treated me with the upmost respect and gave me the full experience. I wish I could remember the guys name but he was super knowledgeable and kind. This is a must-see while in Granada. Absolutely stunning architecture and fascinating history behind the structure.
