Free outdoor display of US B-52 bomber fragments, plus one Soviet fighter jet and some Soviet anti-aircraft guns. There is also a building with some exhibits, but it's not really worth entering. All free. Note they close for 2.5 hrs for lunch, 11am-1:30pm.

The museum itself closes from 11am to 1pm, and I got there just after 11. However, the courtyard is still open, and has a collection of military hardware, including a MIG jet, AA guns and AA missiles. In the centre is the wreckage of a B52 bomber that was shot down in 1972. A small lake behind the museum contains some more wreckage from a B52. The outside display is free, but I'm not sure if the actual museum is. A must-see if you are in Hanoi. I walked there and back from my hotel, and got well and truly lost for 6 hours, which was amazing.
