★★★★★2 months agoMy Khmer friend and I spent an evening exploring Ta Hien Beer Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and it was such a fun experience. The street is full of life. There were small plastic stools, bright neon signs, cold beer, and the smell of street food everywhere. We walked around the area and tried some local dishes. At night, the whole street fills up with locals and tourists all drinking and laughing together. It felt very real and very Hanoi. If you want to visit, just grab a small stool, order a Bia Hà Nội, and enjoy the energy around you. Highly recommend!

★★★★★8 months agoWe had a fun visit to Ta Hien Beer Street in Hanoi last night. This narrow street is full of life — neon lights, colorful signs, tiny plastic stools, music, crowds and a constant flow of people. It’s funky, lively, chaotic and absolutely packed with energy. Vendors can be a bit pushy, but in a friendly way that feels completely typical for Hanoi, never aggressive or unpleasant. We enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere with cold beer, watching travellers and locals mix together and just experiencing the buzz of the place. It’s noisy, messy and not at all refined — but that’s exactly the charm. Definitely worth visiting at least once to feel the vibe and enjoy the organised chaos.
