★★★★★2 months agoHohenzollern Bridge is one of Cologne’s most iconic landmarks, connecting the Old Town with the Deutz side across the Rhine. Built between 1907 and 1911, it was later destroyed at the end of World War II and rebuilt as an important railway bridge. Today, it is used by trains, pedestrians and cyclists, making it both historic and very active in daily city life. The bridge is especially famous for its thousands of love locks, while the views of Cologne Cathedral, the Rhine and the skyline make it one of the best photo spots in the city. A must-see place, especially at sunset or during a walk along the river.

★★★★★a month agoI was really impressed by this bridge. Walking from Cologne Central Station across the bridge to the other side of the Rhine is a wonderful experience, with great views along the way. The countless love locks covering the bridge are also incredible and give the bridge its own unique character. From the views of the Rhine River to the impressive steel structure of the bridge, everything is worth experiencing. And when you reach the other side and look back toward Cologne Cathedral, the view is absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the best walks and views in Cologne.
