★★★★★4 months agoI had a great experience at the Cologne Zoo! The outdoor layout is excellent; it's designed so intuitively that you can easily find your way around without constantly checking a map. It’s clear that the animals have a generous amount of space, and I was impressed by the variety—many of the animals seemed larger and healthier than those I’ve seen at other zoos. The biggest surprise was the Aquarium/Terrarium building. It’s not just fish and coral; they have an incredible collection of reptiles, insects, and some truly beautiful large spiders. Definitely worth a visit!

★★★★★6 months agoA lovely zoo with lots of animals. The highlight is the elephants, which you could watch for ages doing all sorts of funny things. Takes a good 3-4 hours to walk round. There is also a small aquarium and terrarium which your tickets give access to. Great for a day out with kids.
