Jungle house for Bonobos, Western lowland gorillas, Borneo orangutans, dress monkeys, bear monkeys, Guereza and pygmy monkeys, the smallest known primates in the world with 14 centimeters size. The jungle house opened in 1985 was one of the first immersion enclosures in Europe. A jungle-like living environment was created in an 11-meter-high greenhouse covering an area of 2,200 square meters, through which a visitor's path winds for around 170 meters. The floor is modeled in different levels to provide the monkeys with communication paths, open spaces and circular walks. This allows the alpha animal to present itself on raised platforms. There are thick ropes for hanging, swinging and climbing. In addition, the monkeys can reach the nature-green landscaped grounds via cage walks.
