We visited this place with our family during our trip to Lisbon and it was really impressive. The Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument is located right by the water and looks very majestic. When we went, it was a bit windy, but the view and atmosphere were still amazing. The monument itself is beautiful and full of historical details, and the area around it is very open and nice for walking. It’s also a great spot for photos. We really enjoyed visiting here as a family. Definitely a place you should see when you come to Lisbon

Feels like stepping onto a giant chessboard! 🏁The scale of this place hits differently when you are standing right in the middle of the plaza. Beautifully maintained, right on the water, and perfectly placed next to the river walk. It's an easy, essential walk-by spot if you are already in Belém grab a pastry nearby and come sit here to enjoy the breeze! 🌊🧁
