“One of the best views of Lisbon! There’s a really cute park and the surrounding area is just really pretty. ITS ALSO FREE!!! At the back of the park there’s a gorgeous little restaurant and the view is amazing with a glass of wine in hand! One of the best spots in the city to watch a sunset”
Miradouro de Santa Luzia

“Miradouro de Santa Luzia is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Lisbon and definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re exploring the Alfama area. The viewpoint offers an amazing panoramic view over the old city rooftops and the Tagus River. The combination of red-tiled houses, narrow streets, and the river in the background makes it a perfect spot for photos and just relaxing for a while. What I really liked is the atmosphere around it. There are beautiful azulejo tile decorations, a small garden area with flowers, and a peaceful vibe compared to some of the busier viewpoints in Lisbon. It feels very authentic and charming. It can get a bit crowded during the day, especially with tourists stopping for photos, but it’s still manageable and worth it. Early morning or sunset is probably the best time to visit if you want a quieter experience and softer light. There are also a few cafés nearby, so you can easily sit down, have a drink, and enjoy the view a bit longer. Overall, it’s a must-visit viewpoint in Lisbon and one of those places that really captures the charm of the city.”

“I’ve travelled to many places and this is one of my world favourite sunset spots. Great vibes with pop up bars at the top, always someone playing live music. Highly recommended. Always come here when I go to Lisbon.”
Miradouro da Senhora do Monte
- David Boardman6 months ago
“Miradouro da Senhora do Monte offers one of the most impressive views in Lisbon and was a real highlight for us as Canadian visitors. The walk up is a bit of a climb, but the payoff is absolutely worth it, with a sweeping panoramic view over the city, the river, and the surrounding hills that feels both peaceful and unforgettable. It’s less crowded than some of the more central viewpoints, which makes it a great place to slow down, take photos, and simply enjoy the moment. Whether you visit at sunrise, during the day, or at sunset, it’s a beautiful spot that truly captures the charm and character of Lisbon.”

“Hello happy people. Today we are in the city of Lisbon - Portugal. The city of Lisbon has a very rich and interesting history. There are many sights worth visiting. One of these places is one of the symbols of the city, namely “ Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara “. This is one of the most popular panoramic terraces in Lisbon, located in the Bairro Alto district. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the central part of the city, including: São Jorge Castle, the Baixa and Alfama districts and the Tagus River. The place is designed as a small garden with fountains, benches and decorative tiles (azulejos) that show the main attractions of the panorama. It is especially beautiful: at sunset; in the evening, when the city is illuminated; in the summer, when there are often street musicians and small kiosks for drinks. The panoramic platform is easily accessible by: Glória Funicular, tram 28 or metro to Restauradores. This is one of the best places in Lisbon for photos and relaxation with a view of the city. Be sure to visit this place. Greetings and smiles.”
Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara

“Stunning viewpoint, you can see all of Lisboa including the infamous 25 April bridge & Christ. Fantastic for sunset. Beautiful views of the São Jorge Castle. It's located on top of a hill in a very lush green area which adds to the atmosphere. Easy to reach through the neighborhood roads of Alfama, with a gentle climb. There is a nice bar present as well for your alcohol needs. Only issue is the viewpoint itself is quite narrow and gets insanely packed so make sure you arrive quite early if you are looking to catch the sunset!”
