★★★★★Edited 2 years agoAn excellent museum with a variety on display. From ceramics to jewellery to paintings, all wonderfully curated and well maintained exhibits. Staff here are very helpful, informative and joyful. Lockers also available to store your backpack. Minimum of 2hrs, ideally 3 needed to fully enjoy exhibits. Highly recommend. Entry part of Lisboa pass.

★★★★★3 months agoAs a local resident, I really enjoy coming here. It is a beautiful, peaceful place with a wonderful garden and art you could spend the whole day admiring and learning about. There is an excellent variety of curated works from many different periods, places around the globe, and media. Included in each exhibit is thorough annotation of the history and context of the art. This museum is also included in the 52 free public museum visits if you are a resident.
