One of the most underrated museums in all of Lisbon. It only takes about an hour or two to get through the exhibits, but it's well worth your time. Affordable, educational, fun, inspiring - it hits all my sweet spots. I was particularly taken by the work of Portuguese puppeteer Helena Vaz. Her stuff is elegant and beautiful, crossing over into sculpture art, and I'm now looking forward to learning more about her productions when I get back home. This was a very, very cool experience.

Loved this museum. So unusual and fun! A wide range of puppets from different countries and time periods. If you're looking for something a bit different to do I'd highly recommend. We went on a weekday morning and it was nice and quiet. 5 Euro entry, which we just paid on the door. Nice gift shop, not overly priced.
