★★★★★2 months agoBelém Tower is one of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit destination for history lovers. Located beside the Tagus River, the tower features stunning Manueline architecture with beautiful stone carvings and historic charm. The surrounding waterfront area is peaceful and perfect for walking, photography, and enjoying river views. Climbing inside offers interesting exhibits and scenic views from the top. The site is well-preserved and full of cultural significance connected to Portugal’s Age of Discovery. It can get busy during peak hours, but the experience is absolutely worth it. A memorable place rich in beauty and history.

★★★★★a month agoA beautiful and historic landmark that’s well worth visiting when in Lisbon. The views from the surrounding area are fantastic, and it’s easy to appreciate the importance of the Tower of Belém in Portugal’s maritime history. Unfortunately, the tower itself was temporarily closed during our visit, so we weren’t able to go inside. Even so, it was still impressive to see from the outside, and the waterfront setting makes for a great walk and some excellent photo opportunities. We’ll definitely try to visit again next time we’re in Lisbon to experience the interior as well.
