I was amazed at the sheer size of the Cathedral. Going all the way to the top was fun. There are two elevators to do so, with a few steps in between to access the rooftop. From there, you can basically see the entirety of Liverpool. There are discounts for students, so if you can afford it, please try it out. The rest of the edifice is also splendid, as you will see from the photos I imported.

The church was one of our favorites and if you go, do not pass up taking a tour of the top. It costs a bit, but it was totally worth it. You will be able to get tickets at the gift shop. You will have to take an elevator, then climb a few steps with a view of the bells in the tower, to a second elevator. At that point you will climb a few flights to the top. The views of the city are amazing and worth the effort.
