Our family loved the loom weaving workshop! We were able to design our own textiles very easily. The staff and volunteers were very informative and generous. We were given personal attention and they even brought snacks for our sons and spoke to us in English so we could fully participate. Our favorite family activity in Lyon - especially on a rainy day.

We did the workshop and tour. For the workship, we wove with a traditional loom. We picked out the thread and at the end they stitched it into something small of our choice. My sister did a small purse and I did an owl. It was a great experience. Would be especially good for children, but I'd say is fun for all ages. Would highly recommend! But some advice, the sign for the building is small and there's construction outside, but if you follow the building numbers, you should be fine.
