As a professional film maker, this was like a visit to Mecca. Learning about the early years of the Lumiere family and their inventions, seeing the wide variety of their devices, and finding out about their philanthropy was something we didn't learn about in film school. Being able to see some of their early films again was an added bonus. The museum is housed in the gorgeous art nouveau Lumiere family home. A nice cafe is helpful as the museum is in an area with few services. The Billy Wilder exhibit was interesting, consisting mostly of French film reviews and movie posters.

Amazing experience! I highly recommend it if you are interesting in Movie History! I was impressed by the interactive section of the old cinematic instruments that can be seen below! I adored the building and the court! Friendly staff and beautiful facts about Lumière brothers! I think it's quite worthy to visit it! Why not, let yourself discover nlsomething new and different! Thank you kindly!
