A fantastic museum, and the fact that it is free on Saturday afternoons after 2 PM makes it even better. Make sure to set aside at least two hours, as there is a lot to take in. Inside, you can see some of the earliest remains of human history up close — a truly humbling and fascinating experience. The architecture of the building itself is stunning and draws your attention the moment you walk in. There are also plenty of seating areas to rest and take it all in. Highly recommended for history lovers and curious minds alike!

Spectacular museum that is well organized compared to others taking you from the prehistoric to past the renessaince. The museum should take 1 and half hours and is very friendly for kids with 10 or so stations dedicated to replicas from the ages that can be touched. Young kids will love not only seeing but feeling what history was like! Take a map and follow the numbered self tour as it takes you through 2000 plus years.
