A visit to the Naval Museum in Madrid is truly a walk through history, from a completely different perspective. It offers a fascinating journey into Spain’s maritime past, showcasing centuries of exploration, naval power, and global connections. The museum is free to enter, although a small donation is recommended, which makes it even more worthwhile. Despite visiting during Easter Week, it felt easy and uncrowded, allowing plenty of time to explore and enjoy the exhibits at your own pace. I would definitely say it’s a must-visit when in Madrid, especially if you’re interested in history, navigation, or simply want to discover a unique side of the city.

An excellent museum about a country with a rich maritime history. Admission is by donation of any amount you deem appropriate. Everything is very well organized, informative, and interesting. The entire history of the Spanish Navy is displayed from its inception to the present day. Thanks to the staff for creating a wonderful exhibition, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it!
