Actually one of my favourite parks. I take early morning walks by the pond, it’s got a bike path, it’s suitable for skaters, there’s two playgrounds - one for younger kids and one for toddlers. My favourite part has to be the hill at the side near the dome, I always catch the best sunsets on that side. There’s a car entrance if you are coming from Fallowfield side. Walking the entire park from the outside is about 6k steps for those wondering. There’s also an old gothic building and I do like the architecture. The park has a lot to offer for adults and kids.

We visited Platt Fields Park and was impressed to find a group of friendly people. There is a cafe for a cuppa or a bite to eat, seasonal fresh produce on sale, harvested the same day, and toilets if needed. There is a children's playground and a small lake with ducks and swans. Nice visit on a Sunday
