★★★★★a month agoVery nervous to visit today on the hottest day of the year so far but very pleased that the theatre was cool and comfortable. Also laughed a lot at Something Rotten which is a very fun and well staged homage to musical theatre. I understand reviews have been mixed and the idea of a stand up comedian as a leading role haven't exactly gone over well but as a theatre fan it was truly a silly, over the top delight. Not a single person in the ensemble is a weak link and both myself and my partner were completely won over. I hope the show picks up steam with word of mouth because in the end we spent two and a half hours laughing our heads off.
