A learning curve, Emily Pankhurst did a damn sight more than fight for the right for women to vote. The volunteers running the centre are great. I recommend anybody visiting or living in Manchester, should visit, and learn how we benefitted from hers and the rest of the people who fought and campaigned for us....

Fascinating and important small museum. The Pankhurst family played an prominent role in the battle for women's rights. I'd really have enjoyed listening to recordings of Emmeline and others giving speeches. More photos would have been wonderful too. One suggestion is that having the video playing across two opposite walls made it difficult to keep track of the visual content. I'd love to have been able to buy more replica jewellery.
