Originally the plan was to go all in on the steaks, but when we saw the sharing Sunday roast on the menu we decided to switch things up — and we’re so glad we did. The roast was absolutely spot on. Everything tasted like a proper home-cooked Sunday dinner, the kind you’d expect from grandma: perfectly cooked meat, crispy roast potatoes, rich gravy, and all the trimmings. We even ordered extra potatoes and bottomless gravy, which took it to another level. To start, we had a couple of cocktails (the rose mimosa was a highlight) before switching to the house red, which paired perfectly with the roast. The atmosphere really added to the experience too. The venue itself is grand, stylish, and very impressive when you walk in — it feels like a special occasion place without being stuffy. There was live music earlier in the evening, which was great, and later it transitioned into some chilled background house-style music, creating a really relaxed vibe. Overall, a fantastic birthday meal and a place we’ll definitely return to. Next time we’ll stick to the original plan and try one of their steaks — the T-bone is already calling our name. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a beautiful setting, and a memorable dining experience in Manchester. 🍷🥩

I will definitely be back here for my birthday. It’s GRAND in every sense of the word. Our waiter Ramona was absolutely gorgeous and fantastic.
