The volunteers have incredible knowledge and are genuinely passionate about the history of Elizabeth Gaskell and the house she lived in. More people should know about this - I can’t recommend it highly enough. AND! You buy a ticket and you can return as much as you want within a year. I’m already planning to go again with some colleagues!
