★★★★★4 months agoVery beautiful collection with pieces from many different centuries. There are many different subjects to admire and I recommend you spend at least 1.5 hours for a leisurely visit. There are seats in almost every gallery if you want to take a break. I recommend visiting on a Sunday so you can take advantage of the €1 admissions and go to several museums.

★★★★★Edited a month agoIt’s a place where I recommend to take your time. Listen to the audio guide and indulge the marvelous art and history. I roamed around 4 hours to the halls and loved the old masters. Especially during the week sonnig much traffic, you can really enjoy the visit. For me as a photographer the old masters are the base of perspective, of guiding lines and shadows and light. Looking at some of their art, I am stunned how they could create such beautiful art. Lucky me, at the moment the New Pinakothek is under Renovation so some of the younger masters, are duplexes here. Degas Cézanne, Monet Manet Van Gogh were greeting me too.
