What couples say about Munich

Real Google reviews that mention anniversaries, proposals, honeymoons, and date nights — not invented testimonials.

My girlfriend and I spent a great afternoon at the Englischer Garten. It's a magnificent, meticulously maintained park surrounded by nature: the perfect place for both relaxation and exercise. We enjoyed a pleasant stroll and took advantage of the water to cool off. For lunch, we chose one of the Bavarian self service restaurants with a band, a very nice experience. An ideal place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Munich. Highly recommended!

Schloss Nymphenburg, the "Castle of the Nymph," stands as one of Europe’s most magnificent royal residences, originally conceived as a summer retreat for the Wittelsbach dynasty. The architecture is a breathtaking display of Baroque and Rococo elegance, centered around a grand five-story pavilion flanked by symmetrical wings and expansive outbuildings. Its most iconic interior space, the Stone Hall (Steinerner Saal), features a monumental ceiling fresco and intricate golden stuccowork, reflecting the height of 18th-century courtly splendor. The palace is harmoniously integrated into a vast, 200-hectare park, where manicured French gardens transition into English-style woodlands and tranquil canals. The palace collections are equally captivating, most notably the Gallery of Beauties, commissioned by King Ludwig I to honor the most beautiful women of his era. Additionally, the Marstallmuseum houses one of the world's most significant collections of royal carriages and sleighs, including the ornate ceremonial vehicles used for imperial coronations. Beyond the gilding and marble, Nymphenburg serves as a poetic sanctuary within the bustling city of Munich. It represents a rare continuity of history, where the grandeur of a kingdom meets the quiet intimacy of nature. Walking along its mirrored canals at sunset, one feels the enduring romantic spirit of Bavaria—a place where the legacy of the past provides a serene backdrop for the dreams of the present.

Visited from the States for a birthday. The hospitality began before the reservation date. Sabrina reached out in advance to ensure it was a personalized experience. And they pulled it off! The host, the waiter, the staff, the cooking team. It all came together perfectly! Thank you so much! Will return. RJ

A great beef restaurant in the heart of Munich old town. We were a party of 6 people. Had startes, and good beef steaks, several good wines. All come together for not more than 950 EUR. Very well worth the money. The food are superb and service was top notch.

Another wonderful evening at Little London! We were absolutely delighted with both our starters and main courses — everything prepared to perfection, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The gin cocktails were just as fantastic as always — simply the best in town. A very special thank you to Simon, who made our Valentine’s dinner truly memorable. We felt so well taken care of. We can’t wait to come back!

It's been maybe my sixth or seventh visit of this lovely restaurant. It's an amazing place for a romantic dinner or to celebrate something special. The food is of great variety and so far all we tried was great, delicious, fresh and well made. In summer it's also enjoyable to sit outside.
