Fantastic museum to take dino-loving kids to! Free to enter with a great selection of dinosaur and prehistoric animal fossils/skeletons. My son was running around so excited to see dinosaurs he recognised and to learn about new ones too. A top recommendation for kids in Munich! Take note that I believe it is closed on weekends and closes earlier on Fridays.

Amazing local museum with different fossils! My group went in the morning, so it was not crowded at all. They didn’t have very many fossils of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures (probably around 14 or 15), but they did have a rather large collection of ammonite. There were English translations of most of the larger fossils. Would recommend if you are in the area and are interested in prehistoric life!
