Definitely worth the visit and at least get the combo ticket to see the treasury. Bathrooms scattered throughout with signs leading you the way. Many many rooms to see with some very ornate architecture and paintings. The treasury is awesome with the first few rooms being the best. We spent about 4 hours here!

The Munich Residence (>100 rooms!) is really worth the money. Compared to this, the Nymphenburg Palace (20 rooms) is not worth the entrance fee. I recommend to enjoy the park at Nymphenburg Palace for free an visit the Munich Residence + Treasury (combi ticket 15 Euro) for the similar entrance fee + audio guides for free! The Treasury is really nice to see.
