★★★★★4 years agoA marvelous historical place to visit even on sunny days. Part of it can be explored for free. But there's also paid tours for like 10 euros per person. They offer the tours both in English and in Italian. The English tour takes place after lunch when I visited in September. The tour will allow you to view restricted parts inside the castle. Pretty photogenic castle both inside and outside. The entire palace is not stroller friendly, however, if you prepare with a light stroller, it can be done since most if the stairs are low and long. I visited with a heavy stroller, but got help from my wife and the tour mates. The view from the top is quite outstanding. Also, the breeze helps cool down in hot weather
