Important part of the Sicilian heritage dating back from the Byzantine Empire! This place is giving you a different view of all churches and places you can see in the city. Worth seeing it as it is near the main attractions. The entrance is €6 per person over 18 and you would need approximately 30 minutes. It is a nice place to refresh in a hot summer day in Palermo.

A lovely quiet place to take photos of nature mixed with architecture. There are several places to sit along the way and reflect. The inside doesn't have much to see but we found the view of the domes amazing! We also noticed the clay water pipes on the outside wall inside the cloister garden. It was hard to find the entrance, you must past the red domes and garden to where there is a opening in the fence. Pretty neighborhood too. There is a fee to enter. It's sort of tucked away so it is not busy, most of the time, we didn't see anyone else (January).
