★★★★★2 years agoTucked away in what I would describe as my dream house in Paris you will find the musée Zadkine. It offers thought provoking exhibitions and an interesting permanent collection - all displayed in a charming residential setting. I visited with a 4 year old (who was very welcome!) and we both appreciated the works and the building. (Would also recommend a nice stroll in the Jardin du Luxembourg after!)

★★★★★2 months agoHe was not Russian. Ossip Zadkine was born and raised in Vitebsk, Belarus just as his fellow countryman Marc Chagall. They knew each other personally. Zadkine became one of the greatest names in Cubist sculpture. This little musée feels more like an artist’s studio rather than a museum, private, intimate, unique and deeply personal. It tells a story. Pls visit, it’s incredible.
