Having previously seen the empty site in Egypt where it was originally taken from, seeing it stand here in person felt truly special and evocative. While I’m not entirely sure about the strict legality of drinking in this public space, many people were doing so regardless. It has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere that captures the essence of Paris. Highly recommended for a scenic break!
