A highlight of my trip to Pisa. Well worth €5. Be aware it’s a long walk along the wall from the tower side back round to the river. There are 4 checkpoints along the way that you can join or leave however they told us we can only leave and rejoin once with our ticket. Considered doing everything you want to do at the tower first then do the wall walk as it takes you away from the tower. Remember to take water with you as it’s pretty much all in the open sun. At checkpoint C there is a large supermarket if you want to leave to get drinks or food. Very quiet when we done the walk. Highly recommend.

I stumbled upon the wall by accident and it was trully nice. It quite a long walk, around 3 km from one end to the other (~1.8 miles). You can start the journey from 4 places, which I find great. 5 Euro per person is worth the price. Wear confortable shoes, as the pavement is not smooth. The best part is the one closest to the tower and the church. I think it is best to visit in the afternoon when the big turistic crowds dissapear. Ciao!
