★★★★★a year agoDespite the limited opening hours, the museum is absolutely worth seeing for anyone interested in art and history. Highly recommended! It was quite unpeopled when I visited. Generally admission is free on the first Sundays of the month, but worth checking the website because there may be misinformations sometimes. But on other days, the ticket is quite cheap, 5€ for ordinary.

★★★★★10 months agoWow! So much to see in this museum which was right round the corner from where we were staying (Santa Maria Apartment)! Two adults, two 13 y/o’s (one autistic); €5 pp, under 18s free. So much to see! Stunning paintings, tapestries, life sculptures, armour and that amazing carriage as you enter the building. It’s open 09:00 - 13:30. You could spend a good couple of hours in here - we went round in about an hour with youngsters. Fantastic option on a rainy day and youngsters were fascinated by the exhibits! Really quiet - we were the only people there so if you have youngsters who need to be away from crowds it’s a good choice.
