The market was very clean, modern, and pleasant to explore. It was also very convenient that using credit cards here was so easy. Nothing else on display really caught my attention, so I ended up focusing mainly on the fruit stalls. The peaches and figs I purchased were exceptionally fresh and delicious! It is a wonderful and clean place to visit if you want to grab some great fresh produce while in Porto.

Truly a must visit in Porto! Go early if you can so you’ll avoid the crowds. You will not leave empty handed or with an empty stomach! Lots of choices from fresh (and I mean really fresh) seafood to a variety of portugese cheeses or sandwiches. You can enjoy a glass of Port wine and take a stroll in the market.
