I stumbled upon Palácio de Cristal while walking around and didn’t expect to find such a picturesque park right in the center of Porto. It was a lovely surprise, a huge, green, well-kept area that’s perfect for a relaxing walk. The views are stunning, with beautiful panoramic sights of the Douro River and the city, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit and enjoy the moment. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, but it doesn’t take away from the experience, this place is definitely worth visiting. I would love to come back again.

Palácio de Cristal Gardens is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to visit in Porto. The gardens are very well maintained with plenty of walking paths, green spaces, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the Douro River. It’s a perfect place for tourists to relax, take photos, or enjoy a quiet break from the busy city streets. I especially loved the variety of plants, fountains, and the peacocks walking freely around the park – it gives the place a unique charm. There are also several viewpoints that offer stunning panoramic views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Whether you want to enjoy nature, have a picnic, watch the sunset, or simply take a calm walk, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended for anyone exploring Porto!
