β β β β β 2 months agoOverall a interesting and awesome place to visit. The technical building skills and artistry is mind boggling! It can be a bit of a challenge for people with mobility problems, large, uneven cobblestones and many stairs can get in the way of seeing all there is to see. There are accessible pathways to use for those who might need them. Well worth time and effort to visit.

β β β β β 3 months agoβ’Circus Maximus used to be a mass entertainment venue and itβs said to accommodate 150.000 spectators! β’Today it is a big public park where you can still find some fortifications including a tower from the medieval times! β’Definitely worth a visit since it is next to Therme of Caracalla, and it is walking distance from the Colosseum!
