★★★★★4 years agoAlbeit small it has a good and tasteful collection of folk art from icons to costumes, cabinets and other daily life objects wonderfully decorated. It was great that you also get a good overview of the palace gardens from the windows and close by there is a great vantage point easily accessible after a small hike. Beware not to go out of palace yard while trying to access the museum it's on the hill back of the gardens

★★★★★a year agoA charming museum displaying many folk objects. There was also an exhibition on the region's water sources, but the costumes and masks on display were undoubtedly the most interesting. There were also some pieces of furniture that will catch your eye. All of this is definitely worth the climb. And much more: you'll have the opportunity to walk to the two nearby viewpoints (100 meters to the left and right), offering magnificent views of the beautiful landscape as far as Salzburg and its fortress. Take a few minutes to take some beautiful photos!
