Lovely afternoon viewing all the old houses. We also took the train ride around the site. Great place for children to run around or use the playground. Bring your own picnic, plenty of places to sit and enjoy the tranquility.

The Freilicht Museum is a very interesting embodiment of a theme park - many buildings from different centuries were dismantled in different areas of the Salzburg district, such as Lungau, Pongau, Pinzgau, Tennengau, Flachgau, and then assembled and installed in one open-air park.    You can see different lifestyles and different tools.    It is simply incredible and interesting for both adults and children.    The railway runs continuously in the park, the train is included in the cost of the ticket (€12, October 2024).    I recommend it, the park located in the forest. It is big and very interesting, you have to plan a few hours for this park
